official Wildlife Habitat site by the National
Wildlife Federation
September 10,
2006
Hopedale,
Mass – The National Wildlife Federation is pleased to announce that the beautiful water gardens and wonderful
landscaping of
MetroWest
Water
Gardens
have been certified as an official Wildlife Habitat site. The property is
home to many plant, animal and fish species and attracts a variety of birds,
butterflies, and other wildlife while helping protect the local environment.
“We’re very happy and excited to be recognized by the
NWF as a Wildlife Habitat site” said Tom Frost, owner of
MetroWest
Water
Gardens
. “Having a beautiful water
feature installed in your yard not only increases the property’s landscaping
value, it becomes an ever-changing home for Mother Nature’s
wildlife.”
Frost
adds
“We have three water gardens on our property currently and have plans to possibly add
one more in the next year. Additionally, we have installed over 100 water
features across
Massachusetts
since 2004, helping the NWF
organization’s goal of certifying 70,000 sites by its 70th
anniversary in 2006. The mission of the NWF is to inspire Americans to
protect wildlife for our children’s future and we are very happy to be in a
position with our company to help their cause.”
